Some people in this life, right now, would give anything to be in your shoes—even with your problems. Why? Because they see opportunities in your life that you may not even recognize. And therein lies one of the greatest hidden values of intentional mentorship.

If you’ve ever worked with youth, you’ve likely been asked: “What would you tell your younger self?” That’s not a hypothetical for a mentor. It’s an everyday mission. Every conversation, every strategy session, every check-in is a chance to offer the wisdom, tools, and direction we wish we had years ago.
The Case for Mentorship: Backed by Data, Proven by Life
Mentorship isn’t a luxury; it’s a strategic advantage. Research from MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership found that young adults who were at-risk but had a mentor are 55% more likely to enroll in college, 78% more likely to volunteer regularly, and 130% more likely to hold leadership positions. For adults, mentorship correlates to improved career outcomes, reduced stress, and stronger networks.
Whether you’re a teen in transition or a grown professional navigating your second act, having someone in your corner to see what you don’t, say what others won’t, and strategize in ways you can’t yet can mean everything.
Real Experience. Real Credentials. Real Results.
I’m a 39-year-old Black man from Queens and Gordon Heights, New York. My journey has taken me from volunteer gigs at the NBA All-Star Game and championship moments with the Miami Heat, to building industry connections with top sports agents. It also led me to crash. Why? Lack of knowledge. That fall taught me what no textbook ever could.

But I got back up—twice.
I earned two Master’s degrees, one in Higher Ed Administration from Stony Brook, and another in School Counseling from UNC Chapel Hill. I’ve served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army National Guard, leading with dignity and coming home with combat stripes and spiritual medals for the lives I’ve impacted along the way.
I’m not just about books or bravado. I have both. I am tested in the field and trained in the theory.
Mentorship is for Everyone
Let’s be clear. The best athletes have coaches. The most successful artists, entrepreneurs, and executives have advisors and mentors. Why wouldn’t you?
Mentorship is like spotting someone in the gym—they help correct your form, challenge you to lift more, and prevent you from injury. In life, mentors catch blind spots, speak wisdom, and guide you through what feels impossible.
You deserve that.
Why JustINSPIRE?

Because I believe in men. I believe in youth. And I believe that if we want to raise strong minds, we have to show up strong ourselves. JustINSPIRE isn’t just a program. It’s a purpose. We offer:
