đź”® Who Was Bobby Hemmitt?
Bobby Hemmitt was more than a lecturer or researcher — he was a metaphysical messenger. Known for his deep dives into esotericism, occult knowledge, and African spiritual systems, Hemmitt spent decades unpacking the hidden truths behind Western religion, Black identity, and ancient knowledge.
He taught that the world we see is only one layer of reality, and that Black people in particular must rediscover their cosmic roots, ancestral memory, and inner divinity to truly awaken.
📚 What He Taught
Hemmitt’s teachings combined a blend of:
- Gnosticism – a diverse family of religious and philosophical systems that emphasize salvation through knowledge (gnosis) rather than faith or works.
- Egyptian spirituality – a complex system of polytheistic beliefs and practices centered on the interaction with numerous deities who were believed to control various aspects of life and nature. Central to their beliefs was the concept of Ma’at, representing cosmic order, truth, and justice, which all Egyptians were expected to uphold.
- Luciferian thought – encompasses a range of belief systems that revere or admire Lucifer, often as a symbol of enlightenment, self-empowerment, or rebellion against traditional dogma.
- The Kabbalah – an ancient Jewish mystical tradition based on the esoteric interpretation of the Old Testament.
- Dream interpretation – the process of assigning meaning to dreams.
- Cosmic symbolism – refers to the use of elements of the cosmos, like stars, planets, and celestial events, to represent deeper meanings in various contexts, including religion, mythology, literature, and art.
- African spiritual systems (Yoruba, Kemetic, etc.) – encompass a diverse range of beliefs and practices, with the Yoruba and Kemetic (ancient Egyptian) traditions being prominent examples.Â
He frequently emphasized that “everything you were taught to fear is your power,” urging listeners to reexamine suppressed knowledge and embrace what mainstream society labeled taboo.

🎙️ Music as a Metaphysical Extension
Few know that Hemmitt also released spiritual music and vibrational tracks on Apple Music, including:
- 🎵 Pluto the Destroyer
- 🎵 Eye Align
These works aren’t just songs — they’re sonic activations, aligning with planetary energies and spiritual messages that reflect his teachings.
🧬 Why Bobby Hemmitt Still Matters
In a time when algorithmic thinking, AI, and cultural disconnection are the norm, Hemmitt’s legacy reminds us to seek within. His lectures — raw, long-form, and often unscripted — weren’t meant for entertainment. They were downloads for the chosen, designed to spark curiosity, deprogram the mind, and awaken the soul.
For Black thinkers, seekers, and cultural visionaries, Hemmitt carved a lane where academia, street knowledge, and ancient wisdom could meet.

🧩 Final Thought
We may not always agree with every position Hemmitt took — some of it was controversial, bold, or unfiltered. But what’s undeniable is this:
👉🏾 He made us think.
👉🏾 He made us question.
👉🏾 He made us reach deeper.
And for that, we honor the space he held in the metaphysical community.
